The primary purpose of this role is to lead the team and ensure that the Allscripts Quality Management System meets specific needs for the implementation programme.


  • Developing Quality Standards for Programme Deliverables
  • Performing audits to verify quality of deliverables and solutions
  • The Quality Manager, or Quality Assurance Manager, will inspect the final deliverables to ensure they comply with quality standards, style guides and any other requirements to meet client expectations
  • Implementing improvements to delivery processes that lead to overall increases in programme delivery quality
  • Working together with project leaders to identify solutions to quality issues
  • Satisfying client’s expectations around Allscripts delivery and solution quality
  • Complying with ISO accreditation requirements
  • Investigating causes of quality related issues and proposing solutions
  • Training Allscripts employees on the delivery Quality Programme
  • Continuing education on newly developing Quality Management techniques
  • Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective delivery quality
  • Support Allscripts Solution Managers to ensure optimum quality of solutions developed
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations
  • Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards
  • Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis on quality of the programme delivery and solutions developed
  • Solicit feedback from customers to assess whether their requirements are met
  • Submit detailed reports to programme committees and Allscripts executive leadership
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and develop new efficient procedures
  • Personally and through your team, build deep, meaningful relationship with clients and prospects.
  • Develop cross-functional alignment with all other teams.
  • Improve client satisfaction from existing baseline.
  • Guide Infrastructure team to move forward with technology for the benefit of the company as well as development programs and projects.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with Development Operations and Programs counterparts to ensure visibility into upcoming project needs.
  • Establishing and cultivating collaborative, effective relationships with offshore peers to ensure adequate resource allocation to projects and maximum efficiency.
  • Regular use/reporting of metrics for resource allocation, software defects, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Coaching and mentoring individuals to ensure high morale and variety of projects as per their individual goals and career aspirations.
  • Building resource competencies by training on domain (Technology / Business) based on program needs and Infrastructure technology improvements.
  • Leveraging effective, clear, timely communication via all available written and verbal forms and in a global context as appropriate for the initiatives and locations involved.
  • Ensuring commitments and progress to schedules remain clear, reasonable, and proactively monitored.

  • Ensuring communication and status forums/formats make optimal use of time and effect, draw attention to important matters, and are effective mediums for managing initiatives and teams.
  • Identify and recruit internal/external talents to ensure effective mix of competencies.
  • Induct new joiners in order to quickly maximize performance.
  • Set and communicate team/individual objectives and KPI to inspire individuals to achieve high performance.
  • Allocate work load to fully utilize every employee’s talent.
  • Implement development plans and coach for individuals to reach their maximum talent.
  • Provide regular constructive feedback on performance/development and address poor/mediocre performance on a timely manner.
  • Recognize high performers to maintain motivation and retain key talent.
  • Regularly communicate on company news and team progress against business plan.
  • Create team spirit.


Academic and professional qualifications:


  • Graduate level qualification.
  • Qualification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc)

  • In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards


  • Typically requires 7 or more years of successful track record in Quality Manager role

  • Detailed oriented and results driven approach

  • Outstanding communication

  • Excellent organisation and leadership skills
  • Understand the Allscripts vision and solutions and services at a deep level that allows guiding the customers with brainstorming solutions to their issues

Travel requirements:

  • Domestic and some international travel may be required, about 20%
