    The primary purpose of this role is to help ensure product quality, through the planning and execution of:

    1) product testing, and/or

    2) process/product standards compliance.


    The incumbent may have direct involvement in manual or automated test efforts or in developing and managing compliance to standards for process or product quality. Depending on the need and skill level, there may be more technical and/or planning and leadership dimensions to this role.


    The Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for helping ensure product quality, through the planning and execution of product testing, and/or process/product standards compliance. The position primarily focuses on Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management products. The position demands direct involvement in manual and/or automated test efforts, developing and managing compliance to standards for process or product quality. The individual will be directly working with the India & US based product teams and needs to demonstrate the ability to collaborate and influence on a global basis for the right quality engineering decisions. This individual is responsible to bring in technical skills in quality engineering to develop high quality product.


    Responsibilities include:

    • Providing technical leadership to the team in Quality engineering in addition to working as an individual contributor developing manual tests, automation test suites, documentation with a view of product quality improvement
    • Own, design and develop product quality through quality processes and standards.
    • Translate user requirements and product features into testing requirements, design, create and execute test cases.
    • Participate in developing test strategy and test suite design
    • Production and execution of test cases, test scripts, test harnesses, test guidelines (both manual and automated) according to schedule
    • Continuously improve test scripts and test coverage.
    • Liaison with Business Analysts and/or internal / external customers to ensure that requirements are understood.
    • Providing solutions for complex software problems through log analysis and troubleshooting.
    • Escalate concerns about project/product/process quality in clear, timely, collaborative, constructive way.
    • Knowledgeable and conversant in defect prevention and associated tools and methodologies.
    • Participate in defect reviews or other project efforts, providing clear status when needed.



    • Bachelor’s degree and 5-8 years of strong software quality engineering experience
    • Experience with software development life cycle, testing methodologies, quality control, and quality assurance
    • Experience must include functional and regression testing.
    • Demonstrable problem solving and analytical skills.
    • Worked on .NET based products testing with ability to read and understand C#.NET code
    • Knowledge of C#.NET with ability to write automation test scripts
    • Exposure to SQL Server 2010/2012 including T-SQL scripting
    • Exposure to tools like TFS, MTM and ALM implementations
    • Strong team player
    • Strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
    • Experience with Coded UI, and white box testing.


    Nice to have

    • Experience working in the Agile Scrum Model
    • Experience in testing of web application.


    Academic and Professional Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant program of study or equivalent managerial experience required
    • Relevant post graduate qualifications and professional memberships preferred
    • Proactive maintenance of knowledge regarding management strategies, development methodology and standards for team operations, and improve project, product or process quality
