    The primary purpose of this role is to provide strategic HR direction to optimize talent, structure, process, and culture within an assigned function of the business. .  This person can be based either in London or Birmingham.  

    Responsibilities

    • Provides support for overall execution of Human Resources initiatives and day-to-day operations of client groups.
    • Responds to inquiries from employees and managers regarding company policies, procedures, and benefits.
    • Assists employees and managers with resolving problems and issues.
    • Reviews and updates policies, processes and employee handbook
    • Ensures policies and procedures are consistently applied in accordance with our core values.
      This includes knowing industry trends and changes in legal requirements.
    • Consults, coaches, and makes recommendations to managers regarding promotions, performance problems, discipline, and terminations.
    • Processes workers’ compensation, unemployment, and disability and absence paperwork.
    • Communicates relevant information in a timely fashion.
    • Represents the company at Employee tribunal.
    • Assists with the new hire on-boarding process.
    • Provides direction and guidance to managers regarding employment laws.
    • Leads and supports employee consultations process on changing terms and conditions of employment or separation and related documentation.
    • Conducts exit interviews. Compiling reports and analyzing trends.
    • Organizational design to include job analysis and preparing role profiles.
    • Compensation administration to include promotion recommendations, administration of salary review process, and distribution of approved salary increases or stock grants.
    • Recruiting, employee engagement, talent management, and community engagement support.
    • Develop and administer programs to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company and function.
    • Goal-setting support related to department and individual goals.
    • Prepares reports and ensures data integrity.
    • Project deliverables as a member of a Project Team and for seeing deliverables through to completion.
    • May prepare training materials and conduct training sessions as needed.
    • Provide support for M&A activities across International region including TUPE.

    The HR Business Partner will provide HR direction to optimize talent, structure, process, and culture within the International Business.

    • Act as an internal consultant by establishing credibility with leaders as a valuable resource for business and people issues.
    • Identify with leaders' initiatives which drive the department agenda.
    • Ensure successful roll out of company-wide programs and initiatives.
    • Advise and coach leadership team on tools, methodologies, and procedures that will drive business results.
    • Provide HR metrics which aid business performance.
    • Develop and build collaborative relationships across the business to drive results.
    • Partner with leaders on employee engagement programs and strategies.
    • The prioritized areas of focus for this role are:
      • Employment Law, Employee Relations, Company Policy creation and administration.
      • Performance Management Coaching, Counseling and guidance for managers.
      • Training and Development coordination, guidance and delivery as appropriate.
      • Provide guidance and support thru Employment Contract Process.
      • Compensation & Benefits Administration, including Role Profile creation and editing and job matching.

    Qualifications

    Academic and Professional Qualifications:

    • Degree in Human Resources or related field.
    • MCIPD Certification, preferred

     

    Experience:

    • At least 10 years’ experience in Human Resources with at least 3 years’ experience operating as an influencer and business partner.
    • Knowledge of employment laws in various countries including UK, Singapore, Australia.
    • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

     

    Travel Requirements:

    •  International travel will be required for this role.  

     

    Working Arrangements:

    • Work is performed in a standard office environment with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards
    • This person can be based in either London or Birmingham.
